Our advanced forklift self-tipping skips are the ideal way to move materials and rubbish around building sites or yards. Manufactured with a heavy-duty mesh extension ensures that contents stay secure inside the skip during transit thus adding an extra element of safety protecting the driver and pedestrians from any debris that may become dislodged.
The forklift self-tipping skip model’s body is manufactured in 3mm mild steel plate. In order to strengthen our tipping skips further and make them more durable we re-enforce the tops of the tipping skips. All other manufacturers bend the top of the tipping skips sides and backs at a 90 degree angle. We go one step further and force the angle back on itself, creating a strengthened D shape return.
All of our Forklift tipping skips are mounted on either a 4-way entry base or 2-way entry (suitable for castors). The 4-way entry bases allow for the forklift tipping skips to be lifted from either the back or from the sides. Other features of our tipping skips include a tip handle which simply releases the skip, a self-return and automatic reset mechanism once the tipping skip is empty, and a safety retaining chain that allows you to secure the tipping skip to the forklift, thereby stopping the tipping skip from sliding off the forks.
Forklift tipping skip fork tunnels are made using 4mm steel tunnels & unlike some competitors skips they have a 5mm re-enforcing steel bar. This re-enforcing bar is critical for minimising wear and tear to the tipping skip. Forklift Forks can run through the entire forklift tipping skip if they are long enough, however most forks are between 1000mm and 1220mm, with our Forklift Self Tipping Skip guides being 1250mm long and our Telehandler Tipping Skip guides being 1400mm long.
All of our forklift tipping skips, which are manufactured in the United Kingdom to the highest quality standards, are C.E. marked and come complete with full instructions. We are so confident in the quality of our tipping skips that we offer free demonstrations and trials to all major house builders across the Ireland. We are convinced that once you have used our forklift tipping skips for a week you will also agree that they are the most durable and best value for money tipping skips available on the market.
