High Tensile Bow Shackles have been designed to have high tensile strength to withstand being stretched or pulled before necking (when the material starts to contract).
High Tensile strength for Shackles is desirable for applications involving heavy loads or for demanding conditions.
We supply small and large shackles with a Working Load Limit up to 6.25 tonnes.

Bow Shackles have been designed with a bow or anchor shape to provide more room for multiple connections which makes them suitable for various applications – it allows for the easy connection to multiple anchor points or the attachment of multiple items.
Manufactured from high-tensile steel with a hot-dipped galvanised self-colour finish.
High Tensile Shackles meet the Working Load Limit performance requirements of the withdrawn standard BS 3032. Each Shackle has been marked with CE, W.L.L., manufacturer ID and traceability code.
The minimum breaking load for each of these Shackles is 4 times the Working Load Limit – designed to be resistant to wear making them suitable for rugged and demanding environments such as heavy-duty lifting, rigging and load-securing applications where the equipment needs to withstand substantial loads and maintain structural integrity.
