Each Planter has been manufactured with 4 x braked castors as standard and a false bottom 300mm down from the top of the planter to enable easy relocation in your area – with this design the planter should be more lightweight and easier to manoeuvre.
These Planters can be ordered with a natural Corten Steel finish or in a slick Powder Coated finish.
Powder Coated Finish
The three most popular colours we sell are Black, Anthracite and Dove Grey but we offer any RAL colour available – please contact our sales team if you require a colour not listed. The heavy-duty steel is zinc primed to give the planter a comprehensive undercoat with your colour providing a long-lasting durable finish.
Corten Steel
Corten Steel is also known as Weathering Steel – the atmospheric corrosion which occurs when being out in all weathers. Instead of corroding, surface oxidation occurs whereby the steel surface develops its own protective film. Over time this appears as a beautifully aged and weathered finish – this finish should rust until a 6-9 month period before developing a full patina. Corten Steel is of high quality – primarily used in construction for structures that are required for decades or centuries.
Pre-Weathered vs Weather Ready
For an additional cost our team will apply a Weathering Solution to your planter before delivery. This will ensure that your item arrives 'Pre-Weathered' with a Rustic Patina. Weather Ready ensures that your planter is delivered as it comes with it's Steel intact and ready to be weathered and develop it's patina naturally & over time.
These square planters are handmade from UK manufactured heavy duty solid steel and require zero maintenance unlike wooden or plastic alternatives. Planters can take 6 to 9 months to develop a full orange patina and are built to last.
The planters couldn't be easier to set up – simply requiring you to fill them with soil and plant your chosen plants. Each planter has a drainage hole at the bottom – essential for the health of your plants.
