Designed for blocking pipes and drains for drain protection this portable drain valve enabled drains, gulleys and manholes to be blocked without the need for confined space equipment.
The Portable Drain Valve consists of: Bladder fitted with retaining rope, lance & extension rods, pump & inflation hose. The retaining rope is used to recover and reuse the bladder whilst the lance is an easy to assemble tool that ensures quick deployment.
To use the Portable Drain Valve:
- Use the lance & holder, insert the bladder into the pipe
- Pump up the bladder until it can’t be pumped into more
- Remove the lance, remove the pump and repeat the process onto the next bladder.
Bladders cannot be overinflated, when the bladder is at the correct pressure the valve will pump no more. The valve has no pressure gauges, ensuring there is no risk of bursting the bladder and has a high-volume pump for a quick inflation.
