Driving caps are designed to fit the profile of the sheet that you are installing. The driving caps are placed onto the top of the trench sheet and are then used to drive in the trench sheets and piles by being driven down, commonly using machinery such as excavators.
One of the major benefits of using a driving cap is that it maintains the profile of the trench sheet when you are driving the piles into the ground. Without a driving cap the tops of the trench sheet will become deformed & this makes extracting and re-using the trench sheets very difficult. This makes the driving caps a well worth investment over the long term as they reduce installation time and increase the longevity of your trench sheets and piles.
The heavy-duty design of the driving caps allows you to drive the piles in, without risking damaging the driving cap & they can be used time and again.
