The construction of Palisade Railway Fencing comprises carefully designed components:

Pales: Made from corrugated 'W' section steel, each panel consists of 17 pales, 2.5mm thick, with holes for easy installation. The pales oversail the top by 225mm and the bottom by 150mm, and the tops are single-pointed, though they can be rounded upon request.

Rails: The horizontal support rails measure 45×45×6mm RSA with 10mm holes on the front face, ensuring a sturdy structure.

Posts: The steel posts are 102×44×2325mm RSJ with a pointed top, set at 2.75m intervals, providing reliable anchoring for the fencing system.

Fixings: M8×25mm mild steel bolts with a malleable head and shear nuts, as well as M12×30mm cup square bolts and M12 shear nuts, are used to secure the components in place.

Rest assured, our steel palisade systems are manufactured to exceptionally high standards, undergoing rigorous inspections to meet all relevant requirements. They are hot dip galvanized to BS EN ISO 1461 or BS EN 10240 and can be further powder-coated in green (RAL6005) or black (RAL9005) according to BS1722-16: 2009. Should you require a specific colour, we can provide powder coating to your preference.
