External Defibrillator Cabinet – Locked
The External Defibrillator Cabinet is a durable IP66-rated storage cabinet for defibrillators. Made from polyethylene (exterior) and polycarbonate (door) the cabinet ensures the defibrillator inside is kept safe from harsh weather conditions, thieves and general wear and tear. The cabinet exterior is corrosion and impact resistant whilst the door is made from the same material used to construct riot shields, ensuring that this cabinet is truly protected from vandals. The IP66 rating ensures that the cabinet is truly protected from strong jets of water and dust.
With a stainless mechanical code lock, the external defibrillator cabinet can only be accessed by individuals who have the code. Any attempt to force entry to the cabinet is countered by the built clutch mechanism that prevents any attempts to try and force entry and damage both the door and lock.
To prevent the cabinet and defibrillator from being damaged by extreme weather conditions the cabinet is fully insulated with a heat plate and has frost protection. The heat plate has a thermal cut-out mechanism that keeps the plate at 10 degrees and never drops below 5 degrees and never rises past 25 degrees.
Each cabinet has its own unique code to identify which cabinet it is. This is so the unique number of the cabinet can be shared with local authorities when emergency 999 calls are made. With this pinpoint specific cabinet and location, emergency aid can come straight to the correct location, saving time and lives.
