Gabion Rock Rolls
Gabion Rock Rolls are used as permanent gabion to prevent washout and scour in your wetland environment. Rock Rolls can be used to provide a solid foundation for Coir Logs or Coir Pallets and Sods. From here, the roots of growing plants can quickly grow into the voids of the rock rolls to provide long term erosion control and bank support.
Gabion Rock Rolls installed below Coir units can be used to support a filter fabric or biodegradable matting. This type of installation will retain fines in the bank with the roots of the plants from pre-vegetated coir units establishing themselves into the bed of the waterway and through your woven geotextile into the fill.

- Watercourse shorelines

- Streams
