This Weed Barrier Fabric is a high performance, low maintenance solution for weed control. Resistance to the most aggressive weeds such as Japanese knotweed, couch grass, reed, giant reed, giant hogweed, marestail, horsetail, bamboo and Himalayan balsam. Throughout the years and with rigorous testing – there has been no perforation or regrowth through this weed control fabric.
Once this weed control fabric has been installed onto your area, it requires zero maintenance unlike alternative solutions on the market which require chemical treatment or physical removal.
In addition to providing excellent mitigation of invasive weeds and plants, this fabric is also permeable to air and water meaning it can prevent trapped water and associated issues. An eco-friendly solution, this fabric ensures respect and natural balance of the soil by maintaining its biodiversity. Trapped moisture can evaporate naturally through the fabric which prevents condensation which can lead to mould and degradation of the soil.
The weed control fabric is highly tear-resistant and resistant to damage during installation with its robust fibre structure. We expect all rolls of fabrics to be durable for a minimum of 8 years when exposed to UV sunlight in the Central European climate zone.
The roll is 5m wide and 50m long requiring few joints to cover large areas and jointing can undertaken by taping or welding.
